Nord Stage 4: Pads & Textures Collection contains 24 ready-to-play patches, including 6 custom-sampled ambient pads, 5 custom-sampled textures, and 2 unique key-mapped worship drones. Designed for today's modern worship sound, the collection adds depth, movement, and atmosphere to your playing, making it ideal for spontaneous worship, underscoring, ambient sections, and full-band arrangements.
Pads and Textures
The collection includes a wide range of ambient pads and moving textures designed to bring subtle motion and character into your sound. These patches are ideal for underscoring, spontaneous worship moments, ambient sections, and full-band arrangements where atmosphere and depth are essential.
Worship Drones
Included are two unique worship drone patches: Ocean Drone and Morning Drone. By pressing a single note above the high split point, a drone smoothly fades in and automatically follows the major key of the note played. Both drones are built and developed with ambient and atmospheric synthesizers, combined with carefully crafted textures and natural recordings such as ocean waves, wind noise, and subtle birdsong (Morning Drone), creating an immersive and inspiring soundscape.
Performance Control
All patches in the collection can be shaped in real time using the mod wheel, which is assigned to control the filter cutoff for smooth dynamic movement and tonal expression during performance.
On the four Expressive patches (named "Expressive"), the control pedal is assigned to introduce and blend in extra sounds and layers, allowing for deeper real-time control while playing. These same layers can also be adjusted manually using the Synth section faders on the Nord Stage 4, giving full flexibility whether or not you use a control pedal.
Download and importing the collection
When you purchase the collection, you'll receive a download link along with detailed importing instructions. If you have any questions during the process, I'm always happy to help.
The download includes a collection bundle file. When importing this file you will achieve the exact same sounds as showcased in my videos.
I know that some Nord users prefer not to replace their existing piano library. For that reason, I've included two alternative importing methods.
- Factory Piano Collection Bundle: In addition to the main Collection Bundle, you'll receive a second Collection Bundle containing the exact same patches, but built using the factory piano sounds that come pre-installed on the Nord Stage 4 instead of the piano sounds featured in my videos. Everything else—including the pads, textures, effects, and programming—is identical. This lets you choose the version that best fits your current piano library without replacing any of your existing piano sounds.
- Individual Program & Sample Files: You'll also receive all patches as individual Program and Sample files, giving you complete flexibility over what you import. This option includes all of my custom-sampled pads and textures, while allowing you to use your own piano library. If a program references a piano sound that isn't installed on your keyboard, you'll simply see a "Piano Not Found" message when loading it. Just select one of your installed piano sounds, save the program, and it's ready to play.
